Mykola Honcharov was born in Kyiv, graduated from the book graphics workshop at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, and now works as an artist at the Ukrainian National Center of Folk Culture "Ivan Honchar Museum".

Mykola has brilliantly mastered poster expressiveness thanks to his unique ability to create associatively accurate and meaningful images-symbols. His artwork is concise, refined, and free from unnecessary details — it eliminates the ambiguity of interpretation, forcing viewers to get to the heart of the matter.
