The "Dark Times" series, emerged during the period when Russia attempted to plunge Ukraine into a total blackout. 

Sacred images emerge from the darkness like phantoms, layered on fragments of modern satellite images of Ukrainian cities or shots of landscapes mutilated by missile attacks. These are combined with the texture of silver or gold foil, similar to the pictures from frontline operations. 

This collage combination emphasizes symbols of sacrifice and narrates the story of warriors fighting their way through the darkness of war.
