When people ask me, "How are you?" I usually don't know what to say. I can't say that everything is fine with me, because now the Russians are killing, raping and torturing people in my country. But I also can't say that I'm not okay because I'm not in Mariupol. Not in Kherson. Not in Kharkiv. Not in Ukraine. But now, before going to sleep, our thoughts are somewhere there, it worries and touches us, although we may not be in the hot spots directly. Perhaps, if the whole world thought about the same thing before going to sleep and what it can do to help, then we would all sooner wait for calm nights and the opportunity to fall asleep without scary thoughts.
