Anna Sarvira is a Ukrainian artist and curator. Having graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv, her graphic works and illustrations have been awarded and exhibited worldwide. She has illustrated more than 30 books and created styles for the international children’s TV show Brave Bunnies. She has worked with UNICEF, Museum of Modern Art New York and UN Women. In 2014, she founded the Pictoric illustrators club with Oleg Gryshchenko and Olena Staranchuk. The Pictoric illustrators club organizes exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. In 2021, they published the book Illustration in Ukraine (CP Publishing) – a compendium of contemporary illustration in Ukraine. Since the full-scale war in Ukraine started in 2022, Pictoric initiated the project #SupportUkrainePIC which collects war illustrations from Ukrainian illustrators. Pictoric has organized more than 40 exhibitions from this archive since March 2022.
